Brenda Etchells

Brenda Etchells

Brenda started life as a “wee Scottish lass from a council estate in Edinburgh”. Through hard work, drive and ambition she carved out a successful 30 year career in financial services. On reaching her early 50s she decided to pursue her dream of running her own business, helping leaders with their strategic thinking, planning and overall development needs.

She is fascinated by people and mindsets, especially how they affect us in business. It’s something she’s come across in all of her studies from the Degree in Psychology and Masters in Business Administration, right up to her ILM7 in Business Mentoring and Executive Coaching.

When working with her clients Brenda sees herself more as a sounding board for their problems than a source of a single off-the-shelf solution. She’s there to guide them towards the solutions that fit their business.  She has worked with over 70 clients, with businesses of all shapes and sizes and across a variety of industries. She loves tapping into her experience of overcoming barriers and challenges in business to help leaders to strive towards their roadmap to success.

Brenda believes that business is part of your life, not the whole of your life so she makes sure to spend as much time as she can with her family and doing the things she loves. In between being a “gym bunny” she manages to fit in the occasional prosecco with friends and spends time with her husband, two adult children, her mad and very high energy Spaniel and her plump cat. She has recently taken up crown green bowls as she heads towards semi-retirement.
