How to Submit Your Manuscript
Guidelines for your email submission
Please submit one file, by email, containing the following:
Your email title should be the title of your book.
The file as detailed below should be the only attachment.
The file format should be one of the following: Word (.docx), Pages (.pages), OpenOffice (.odt), PDF (.pdf).
The email address for your submissions is enquiries@tweedlecoate.co.uk.
General requirements
We do not accept submissions by post. With half the team in Yorkshire and half in Somerset we have to use electronic copies of everything (even though we all remember how nice paper copies of things once were).
We read every submission and aim to respond within one week. If you have not heard after two weeks, please do send us a reminder. Sometimes the sheer volume of submissions takes us a little longer to evaluate each one fully. We will have confirmed receipt within 2 working days so call us to make sure your email didn't vanish behind Alpha Centauri (or into the spam folder) and we'll know to send out a search party for it.
We are looking for high calibre writing in all genres, but please note that we do not publish pornographic material or offensive materials. If you aren't sure that your work is OK then call to ask first or include a note regarding it in your synopsis. Please read our Self Editing Guide before submitting your work to ensure you've done all you can to show us your work in it's best light.
If we feel that we cannot publish your work at this time, we will provide you with a brief, free feedback outlining the areas where we suggest more work is required. This is purely our opinion, and does not constitute an obligation on either our part or yours for reconsideration or re-submission respectively.
